NetworkIn the past four years MycoRed has been creating and enforcing links with institutions and experts worldwide, favouring a strong cooperation among different international players in the field of mycotoxin research and studies.
In four Continents these links became concrete networks, putting togheter scientists, experts, industries, associations, institutions, research entities who had several opportunities to share a common approach, different experiences and points of view.
In this way, active cooperation has been realized with existing international societies, such as ISM - International Society for Mycotoxicology, SLAM- Latin America Mycotoxicology Society, JSM - Japanese Sociey for Mycotoxicology.
In addition, new network were formed, arising directly from contacts and exhanges at international MycoRed conferences, as well as by scientific cooperation in the project activities.
The Mediterranean network for Mycotoxins was encouraged during the MycoRed Mediterranean workshops, held in 2010 and 2011 respectively in Egypt and Turkey, in cooperation with Mediterranean Phytopathological Union (MPU) and International Society for Mycotoxicology (ISM).
The Marocco Society for Mycotoxins also strenghts links with MycoRed community.
The African Mycotoxin Network is coordinated by Altus Viljoen, who launched the website, creating tools to centralize communication, synchronize calendars, share files.
Furthermore, the network area in the enables members to learn more about each other and build deeper working relationships.
